of those Hispanic students who are learning the English language.
Phonetically, the English language is very different from Spanish. Starting
with the alphabet, it is easily noticeable that the letters in these two
languages are pronounced differently, and it is very important that students
see these differences in order to achieve the correct pronunciation. As much
as words, letters in the English language can create confusion for Hispanic
students. They usually have troubles like using “B” instead of “V,” and also
using “C” instead of “Z.”
